The boxing match between former middleweight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. And former UFC superstar Silva will take place at 180 pounds. Chavez Jr. fought last November, defeating Jeyson Minda by TKO in four rounds. Silva lost his last three fights in the UFC before turning his attention to professional boxing, where he’s 1-1.

Silva is considered by some to be the greatest mixed martial artist of all time. His run in the UFC from 2006 to 2012 ranks among the most dominant streaks in MMA history. However, in recent years he’s suffered brutal losses to the UFC’s younger stars like Uriah Hall and Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya, both of whom consider themselves disciples of Silva.

Chavez Jr. Hasn’t faired much better in recent years. While he did beat Minda in November, he’s just 2-3 in his last five fights, including a loss to current pound-for-pound boxing king Canelo Alvarez.
